Jessica Simpson to marry Tony Romo?

Jessica Simpson's closest friends are convinced she is planning to wed new love Tony Romo.

The Dukes of Hazzard star has been seeing American football star Romo for just four months. But friends say she's so serious they are convinced she is already making wedding plans.

"I think they're going to get married, said Michael Starr, lead singer of heavy metal comedy band Metal Skool and a close friend of Romo.

"I wouldn't be surprised."

Sophia Bush, a close frined of both Jessica and Tony who even once dated the sportsman, agrees. "I think they could go the distance," she said. "They're perfect for each other.

"They're both funny and wonderful and kind.

"I'm rooting for them."

Even Jessica's ex-husband, singer Nick Lachey, is supporting the relationship. "I wish her nothing but happiness," he said. "If she's found that - good for her."
