PETA brands Kate Moss a "super tramp", Eva Longoria a "streetwalker"

Kate MossAnimal rights group PETA have branded Kate Moss a "super tramp" and Eva Longoria Parker a "streetwalker" in their Worst Dressed List.

In their annual online list, the group also hit out at singers Aretha Franklin - who they crowned Biggest Loser - Kylie Minogue and Marilyn Manson and actress Lindsay Lohan for wearing fur and leather.

Referring to 'Desperate Housewives' star Eva, PETA - who "fight for the ethical treatment of animals", said: "Eva Longoria is short on compassion. In her trashy furs, she looks like the streetwalker of Wisteria Lane. Eva is one 'Desperate Housewife' in need of a quickie divorce - from her stylist."

Talking about British supermodel Kate Moss, PETA fumed: "Nothing completes the transition from supermodel to super tramp like a fur coat. If Kate could see clearly through those bleary eyes, maybe she would clear her closet of those furs."

Lindsay was branded a "mean girl" for wearing fox fur, while Aretha was told to have some "R-E-S-P-E-C-T for animals".

Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue was blasted for her penchant for python-skin bags.

The campaign group said: "What does Kylie Minogue have in common with her python purse? They are both cold-blooded. Come on Kylie, it's not cool to clutch an accessory made by nailing snakes to a tree and skinning them alive."

Previous winners of the Worst Dressed title include Paris Hilton, Kimberly Stewart and Nicole Richie.

It's appalling to see these

It's appalling to see these "stars" still wearing fur, after they've repeatedly been made aware of the ethical problems associated with it.

China is the world 's largest exporter of fur clothing. Dog and cat fur is deliberately mislabeled as fur from other species so that it can be sold to unsuspecting Americans. Even faux fur may be real fur.

This is the same China who cut safety corners to sell us contaminated pet food, toxic lead-based-painted toys, anti-freeze in toothpaste, melamine in flour, toxic seafood, defective tires, etc. and it is also selling fur from animals that have been skinned alive (less costly you know).

Everyone from Martha Stewart to Paul McCartney has denounced fur. This is not an issue that concerns only animal rights advocates.

Anyone considering wearing fur has a moral obligation to view the fur documentaries before falling for the advertising hype urging them to buy it. There is nothing stylish abour wearing fur...these women look like old hags!
