Britney Spears reunites with sons

Britney Spears, Sean Preston, Jayden JamesTroubled Britney Spears was reunited with her sons today almost two months after she last saw them, according to US reports.

Sons Sean Preston, two, and Jayden James, one, were taken to Britney's Hollywood Hills home by her ex Kevin Federline's bodyguard. Federline put them in their car seats before they left his Tarzana home, according to People magazine.

The visit came after lawyers in the bitter custody battle thrashed out a deal for Britney to see her boys in a "therapeutic setting". Strict conditions for the visits include that Britney's dad Jamie and her psychiatrist must be present.

A source close to the case told People: "The real hero was Jamie.

"He has taken charge, and she has visitation again."

Britney last saw her sons on January 3 - when she was rushed to hospital for a psychological evaluation. Her visitation rights were suspended not long afterwards. Less than a month later she was involuntarily committed for 10 days to UCLA Medical Center.

Legal teams reportedly spent more than a week working on the visitation deal. K-Fed is said to be happy to let Britney see their boys again. His attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan said on Friday: "Obviously this wouldn't have happened if Jamie Spears wasn't involved but there's much more to it than those two people being present.

"We have put in lots of specific terms, conditions and protections in place that go far beyond those two people being present."

Britney was ordered by a court to give up custody to K-Fed in October. The ruling came after claims by her ex-bodguard she used drugs and was a danger to her children.

Commissioner Scott Gordon had previously declared Britney is a "habitual, frequent and continuous" user of drugs and alcohol.

Well, this is just

Well, this is just wonderful. I sure hope they extend the conservatorship though 'cuz if the pantiless display this week is any indication, she ain't ready to be on her own yet. Progress, yes, thanks to her Father, but it could take a long while before she is ready to try it on her own. Best wishes all the same.

I am so happy for Brittany,

I am so happy for Brittany, and especially for her precious children. People say, Do what is best for the children. Like Michael Sands said, which I agree with wholehardedly, no matter what the circumstances are, the children should see their mother as often as possible. I worked in a methadone maintenance program for over 20 years. The counselors, including me had ACS (that means children's services in the Bronx).

I got cut off. My point is,

I got cut off. My point is, no matter if the chilldren were taken away temporarily, they saw their children weekly usually at the agency. It was detrimental for the patients not to see their children. I couldn't believe that there is all these stipulations regarding her seeing her gourgeous boys. If I was Brittany, I think I would have gone crazy by now. LOVE YA BRITTANY!!!!!!!!
