Daniel Radcliffe buys another New York apartment for $4.9 million
Harry Potter hunk Daniel Radcliffe has shelled out a whopping $4.9m on his second New York apartment, it has been revealed.
The 18-year-old actor - who already owns a two-bedroom $4.3 million home in Manhattan - has now purchased a three-bedroom, 2,450-square-foot property in the cosmopolitan city.
Daniel, who is worth an estimated $6m, plans to live in the apartment when he starts his Broadway run in 'Equus' in September.
The property faces the Hudson River and boasts a stunning view of New York Harbor.
In 2007, Radcliffe paid a reported $4.3 million for a New York penthouse located on the fifth floor of a 13 story block in Manhattan's exclusive SoHo district, which he planned to rent out for $20,000-a-month.
Update: Radar has pictures of Dan's swanky new flat.

Good for him. Nice to see
Good for him. Nice to see stars doing something sensible. Insane celebrities buy homes in Beverly Hills or rent places Manhattan only to find themselves down the road doing dinner theatre in Paramus and living out of a "Motel 6" on ever dwindling royalties. Fame may come and go, but two prime real estate location in Manhattan can sustain Radcliffe progeny for centuries. Now he just needs to pick up choice spots in London and Paris. Hopefully he will have good management running his property.
