Jennifer Lopez spent $1.4m on giving birth to her twins

New mum Jennifer Lopez spent a staggering $1.4m on giving birth to her twins, according to U.S reports.

J-Lo, who is famous for her diva demands, delivered a boy and a girl at New York's North Shore University Hospital on February 22.

Insiders say that Lopez has been overheard calling the new additions Maximiano and Emelina, according to In Touch magazine.

Lopez, 38, and singer husband Marc Anthony reportedly spent a whopping $700,000 to reserve a luxurious birthing suite at the hospital. And extra-cautious Lopez had the $175,000-a-week suite reserved for three weeks before even going into labor.

The happy couple also shelled out $300,000 on private doctors and nurses, $300,000 on security and $100,000 on personal assistants in the run-up to the birth.

The birthing suite included white couches, a large Apple computer monitor, a private kitchen and two flat-screen TVs, according to In Touch.

"She's doing so well but we have gone through a lot of tissues. Everyone is crying tears of joy," a Lopez pal told the magazine.
