Paul McCartney and Heather Mills divorce details to be published
Details of the bitter divorce battle between Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills are set to be published, it has been revealed.
The details will be published by London's High Court to end speculation over the size of the financial settlement Heather, 40, will receive - which could be the biggest in British legal history.
Mr Justice Bennett, who presided over a five day hearing at the High Court to decide how much money Heather is entitled to, was due to deliver his assessment behind closed doors in courts on March 17.
But he has taken the unusual step of signaling to Sir Paul and Heather that he may release all or part of his conclusions because of the intense public interest in the divorce battle.
A spokesman for the Judicial Communications Office told Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper: "The Judge will hand down his judgment in private on March 17. He will then decide, having heard submissions from the parties, whether or not to make the judgment public in whole or in part. The submissions from both parties will be heard in private.
"It is not unknown in high profile cases, or where the judges think the case has legal significance, for some or all of the settlement to be made public."
The size of Heather's settlement is likely to remain confidential -- unless either side had chosen to go to the Court of Appeal, whose hearings are held in public.
Neither Paul or Heather wanted to comment about the latest twist in their high-profile divorce battle.

Heather mills should be made answer for her lies. she says she wants to stop news papers from printing lies about her the truth is many of the storeys people have read are not lies they are the TRUTH. heather is the only one who can not help herself from telling fantasised story about her so called life SHE married paul mccartney she had the chance to say sorry for the hurt she has caused some people who had the miss fortune to have know her one of them always thought heather was an old friend heather did not stop once to consider this girls feelings or her life in my opinion heather mills should say sorry to this lady but as it stands she has refused to do so and why because it would mean having to admit that the story in her book was totally made up i hope one day this lady will get to tell her side of the story but not having heather's plat form to stand and say what was the truth i guess she will never get to put her side. Now that Mills has been offered some telly shows - proving that her marriage to Paul did not in fact ruin her career/earning potential as she claimed - let's hope the settlement won't be too high.
It's a shame to try to take
It's a shame to try to take what is not her's. Sir Paul made her famous not the other way around, she should have accepted his generous offer and not be greedy. Sir Paul should have had a pre-nup agreement but I guess he didn't expect to be taken for a cruel ride.
