Britney Spears almost evicted from her Malibu home
Britney Spears was almost evicted from her Malibu home - because she hadn't paid the rent.
The landlord for the spacious mansion was furious that the pop wreck was more than two weeks late paying her $35,000 rent.
So he sent the official lessee for the Toxic Singer - the Love Shack trust - a letter on February 14 demanding that she pay up or movie out.
In addition to the outstanding rent amount of $35,000, a $2,100 late charged kicked in, which was also not paid.
The documents stated that Love Shack must either pay up or "surrender and deliver up possession of said Premises..."
The last line in the documents also cited Section 594 of the Penal Code of California: "Every person who maliciously injures or destroys any real or personal property not his own...is guilty of vandalism."
Sources insist that it was Britney's financial team and not her dad Jamie, who has been named conservator over her estate including her financial affair, who screwed up.
And the Love Shack is now current on all rent and late fees.

Sounds like her father Jamie forgot to pay the bills after he put her in the hospital. She also came home to him having taken all her security aides and managers away, and after there was no-one to mind the place some of her special things were stolen from her home, like memorabilia, like very expensive chandelier, and a lot of cash.
Taht is why the Lapd ROBBERY unit is investigating into what happened to her property while she was in hospital.
AFter getting rid fo the aides and managers that handled the rent payments and the like, and denying them to be allowed to see Britney to communicate, and after her security were not allowed to look after her home, i fail to see how you can describe the father who only came out of his own rehab after years of alchoholism and pill addiction, as "saving the day"
if you notice you will see that the psychiatrist has decided it is a family problem and she is treating both Jamie and Britney together, by the sound of it no other family members, just those two people.
Jamie is also recieving his therapy while at the house to help him overcome his problems, (maybe caused by losing his mother when he was young, so lets have some sympathy for him, but he has a way to go before he might of been up to the job of looking after things like remembering the rent during his first month of taking over from Britneys expert assistants)
