Winona Ryder hits out at engagement claims

Winona Ryder has hit out at claims she is engaged to be married.

It had been reported that the Beetlejuice star revealed she was engaged to Rilo Kiley guitarist Blake Sennett at Paris Fashion Week last Thursday.

However, Ryder's spokeswoman Mara Buxbaum has shot down the story.

She said: "It's not accurate. They're dating and they have been dating for some time, but they're not engaged."

The pair met while working together on the film Water Pill.

Ryder, 36, will soon be seen in a new big screen version of sci-fi TV hit, Star Trek, alongside British actor Simon Pegg.

Sennett, 31, is the lead guitarist in indie band, Rilo Kiley.
