Pop superstar Madonna and her film director husband Guy Ritchie hardly ever see each other — and lead largely separate lives, the singer’s father-in-law has claimed.

John Ritchie, 79, said: “They are not spending any time together at the moment.’

He told Britain’s Grazia magazine: “Madonna and the children are rushing around together like mad and Guy wants to stay in England.”

And a family friend claims the less the couple see each other, the better.

The insider said Madonna, 49, spent years trailing Ritchie around his favorite pubs. But the pal said: “However, what Guy appreciates and respects most is space to do his own thing. The more she leaves him alone, the better they get on.”
