Michael Jackson 'secretly' looted his Neverland Ranch to prevent his prized possessions going under the hammer, it has been claimed.
Jackson faced losing his once beloved California home later this month unless he paid off a $24.5m loan.
Jackson is trying to work out a new loan to cover his existing debts and spare the estate, which he bought in 1987.
The auction of the 2,800-acre ranch in Santa Barbra would include all personal property, including furniture, rides and games.
Jacko has not lived at the sprawling estate since being acquitted of child abuse charges in June 2005. But he was allegedly not taking any chance on losing some of his favourite items, and sent people to the mansion to collect them.
"Michael was livid. He had been doing everything he could to pay off the taxes and loans to keep the property," an insider told the National Enquirer. "He instructed some close associates to remove some belongings at the estate so they wouldn't face the auction block.
"The associates apparently got a little carried away - they ended up pillaging the place.
"Some rooms are empty. But the rusting Ferris wheel is still out there. It's going to take a crane to remove it."

If Mike would just throw another one of his spectacular world tours... ((he get's paid 100 mil for a new tour). Also, he gets 30 mil just to make a new music video.. he could EASILY pull himself out of debt if he wanted to. And I believe he will in time.

For a man who's earned a billion dollars over his life time, it's just shocking that he doesn't have $25 million to pay for this.
Its also shocking that he's in debt $300 million. Where did it all go?
He's got to manage his money better. One person can live just fine on $10 million a year.
