Robbie Williams claims he has seen UFOs three times

March 8 2008

Robbie WilliamsSinger Robbie Williams claims that he has encountered a UFO at least three times.

The 'Feel' star - who has previously battled drug and alcohol addiction - also says he'll quit his singing career to study aliens after his series' of extra terrestrial experiences.

He said: "I’m stopping being a pop star. I’m going to be a full-time Ufologist."

Robbie, 34, also believes that the bizarre and highly controversial cult Scientology "exists" and reckons ghosts "are other worlds"

Former 'Take That' star Robbie insists that the first time he saw a UFO was when he was a kid in Britain. His second sighting was above a hotel in Beverly Hills.

He added: "I was lying on my sun lounger outside at night. Above me was a square thing that passed over my head silently and shot off."

Robbie also claims that the third UFO appeared as he stood on his bedroom balcony after writing a song about alien contact.

"This big ball of gold light turned up. On my life," he said.

Robbie based his 2006 Close Encounters concert tour on UFOs.

After claiming he also believed in ghosts, he said: "People will think I’m mental, which I am."

Well, i personally think

Well, i personally think Robby is very brave to stand up and say these things. He speaks from the heart and may be that's the reason he has had these ufo experiences. Once you have seen things like this there is no turning back, its as if your life has been touched. Its almost spiritual. I expect lots of derogatory comments will follow Robby williams for coming out and saying what he truly believes but he will deal with it. Wake up people this subject will not go away and it will not be long before we all have to accept the fact that ufos are very real.

If he wants to hold such

If he wants to hold such beliefs, thats fine with me. We should never argue over each others beliefs; yet try to feel comfortable, and except him. The only "UFOs" that do not exist are the ones that man denies. One can make the same argument over any religion seeing that there is no conclusive evidence that any of mans "acknowledged" history past has ever happened. So sure; the universe is full of impossibilities man shall never understand.

Good luck with it mate. It

Good luck with it mate. It is a long and hard road as anyone in the field will tell you. It is also dangerous too so keep you eyes open and watch your back. if you get too close to the truth bad things could start to happen All the best and happy hunting - a fellow ufologist.

By the way you are as crazy as the guy/gal next to you.

Sounds like a good idea.

Sounds like a good idea. I've seen a few UFOs myself including a giant Stingray plasma craft, and a flying saucer when I was a kid, although I didn't know they were called flying saucers back then I thought it looked like a flying dustbin lid :) Nothing wrong with being mental, it's all them zombies that run the country I worry about; the ones that don't know they are raving bonkers.

Well, this is all well and

Well, this is all well and good - the guy is free to believe what he wishes to believe, whether we think he's mental (or the matter that he really is) but I'm a cynic and just think this is strange way of bowing out of the music business in light of Take That's second coming instead of just admitting that he can't cut it with the big boys anymore, and after an abomination such as 'Rudebox' being unleashed on the world, I don't blame him.

Keep watching the skies, Rob.

What a colossal waste of

What a colossal waste of time. Some anecdotal evidence and some shiny lights in the night sky. An alien IS the most logical and simple explanation. You people ever heard of Occam's razor? Or empirical evidence? Or common sense? Well I have to go, I'm meeting ET and Dr. Who for coffee. I sure hope the FBI don't have their 'alien unit' tracking this. If you never hear from me again please assume I have been 'silenced'.

well i only see 3 comments

well i only see 3 comments so i wonder if they are censoring the others ?
hmm, i am a ufo researcher since 1991, still alive but then its hard to watch yer back all the time doing this type of work.
give as you get i always say so no one should enter an investigation of ufo cover up agencies unless you can defend yourself from attack. That being said you can learn a lot about ufos by googling the phrase "new jersey ufo" or the phrase "steve tobias ufo" ...good luck to Robbie Williams. -Derr

If you see a UFO three

If you see a UFO three times, there has to be something more than coincidence to it. You're in good company with pilots, police officers, doctors, and many, many more people from all walks of life. I wouldn't call knowing that UFOs exist and wanting to know more about them being mental, since it's been proven to you more than once that they are real. If I were able, I'd do the same thing as you. Hang in there with chin up. It's just a matter of time before the rest of the world starts seeing too.
