Victoria Beckham vows to return to Britain

Victoria Beckham has vowed she and David will return to live in Britain -- after the soccer star's contract with LA Galaxy expires in 2012.

The famous pair have previously insisted their future will be in America -- where they mix with Hollywood pals such as Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Will Smith & his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

The pair are keen to ditch the US and buy a home in London's exclusive Chelsea -- so they can boost their charity efforts through their budding friendship with prime minister Gordon Brown & promote Victoria's fashion range in upmarket stores Harrods, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.

A source said: "They are coming back and London will be home for Victoria, David and their sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz."

Posh - who recently finished the Spice Girls world tour, admitted: "If we lived in England full-time, which at some point I'm sure we will, we would have to have a house in London."

They will not move back full-time until after David's $250million, five-year contract with LA Galaxy ends in 2012.

In the meantime, though, Victoria will make regular visits to the UK -- as she promotes the upcoming Spice Girls' DVD -- where she'll have ample opportunity for a spot of house hunting.

Mom of three Posh, 33, seemed to revel in the lifestyle in LA -- where she and David, 32, have a palatial $20million Beverly Hills mansion.

She had been in the US only days in July last year when she said: "We've loved every minute so far. I can't see us going back."

The source added to Britain's Sunday People newspaper: "Victoria loves America. She enjoys the company of Tom and Katie Cruise and other A-list pals.

"But she is excited about the long-term future and London will play a huge part in that.

"They have Beckingham Palace in Hertfordshire but she wants to be closer to the hub of London."
