Bobby Brown backs Whitney Houston's comeback plans

Bobby Brown backs his ex-wife, Whitney Houston's plans for a comeback.

The singer, 39, paid tribute to Houston despite their acrimonious split in 2006, saying: "She's the diva of all divas. She's Whitney Houston."

The 'My Prerogative' star - who officially divorced from the 'Hold Me' singer last year - adds: "She has the greatest voice probably on the face of this earth... Don't count her out yet."

He also suggests there is still a bit of chemistry between the pair, adding: "After 14 years of marriage, it'd be tough on anybody.

"But we have a great daughter. And we're really cool friends, we talk. It is what it is."

Houston, 44, is due to release her new album - her first in five years - this November.
