Lindsay Lohan refuses to appear in her mum's new reality TV series

Lindsay Lohan has said she won't appear in her mum's new reality TV series about her famous family, it was claimed today.

The Mean Girls starlet was overheard telling pals she wants no part of the upcoming show - due to start filming next week.

A source said: "Lindsay was overheard telling a friend she won't be on it."

Mum Dina Lohan signed a deal with television network E! Reality to produce the new show, "Living Lohan" - said to be a fly-on-the-wall look at the family's life. It stars Lindsay's 14-year-old sister, Ali, and is expected to feature her brother Dakota, 11.

Filming is set to begin this month in New York.

A spokeswoman for Lindsay Lohan was unavailable for comment.

It comes amid reports the now-sober Lindsay has warned her young sister not to follow in her footsteps.
