Amy Winehouse spending thousands to clean her apartment

Troubled Amy Winehouse is being forced to fork out thousands of dollars to renovate the apartment she once shared with husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

The singer, 24, had planned to purchase the East London property - but decided against it because the flat brought back too many bad memories.

When Amy moved out of the apartment, its owner had threatened legal action against the singer - because she had left it in such a state.

Amy has now moved back to her apartment in North London - and has already left boxes of garbage, bags of clothes and piles of broken furniture outside her new home.

Meanwhile, Amy's dad, Mitch Winehouse has insisted the 'Rehab' singer is not on the verge of a relapse - and that she is no danger of one, thanks to her pal Kelly Osbourne.

He said: "If she’s with Kelly there’s no relapse. Kelly’s a drug counselor, so Amy’s completely safe with her."

Fielder-Civil, meanwhile, continues to languish in prison on assault and conspiracy charges.
