Elliot Spitzer infuriates his celebrity constituents

New York's disgraced Governor Eliot Spitzer has infuriated many of his celebrity constituents.

Julianne Moore, once a fan of the former attorney general, branded him "A fucking embarrassment," adding "I'm really pissed."

Speaking at Tuesday's TSE flagship SoHo store opening, the fiery 'Laws of Attraction' actress, 47, added: "I honestly don't care where or how people have sex, or with whom, but prostitution is illegal. For someone whose got such a reputation for having a real attitude towards crime, you have to walk the walk. I'm sorry."

Meanwhile, many high-profile TV hosts were happy to line-up and give their opinion on the shamed politician - who allegedly spent over $80,000 on prostitutes.

On his Comedy Central Colbert Report, Stephen Colbert said of Spitzer, "I sat next to the guy three times and I didn't pick up on any of this, and I usually have excellent whore-dar."

While David Letterman quipped, "They're talking about impeaching Eliot Spitzer if he doesn't step down, and I'm thinking, 'Whoa, a Democrat being impeached for extramarital sex. Well, happy days are here again!' "

Conan O'Brien joked, "Not surprisingly, clients 1 through 8 were Charlie Sheen."

And the View co-host Joy Behar said, "Aren't you sick of men? Viagra is destroying our government."
