Ivanka Trump does not get her wax figure manicured
Ivanka Trump does not gets her wax figure manicured - in fact, she doesn't even have one - a spokesman for Madame Tussauds New York has said.
It was reported Monday that Ivanka - the daughter of billionaire property mogul Donald Trump - regularly sends an assistant to the New York Madame Tussaud's to touch up the nail polish on the wax likeness of her.
A Madame Tussauds employee was quoted by the New York Daily News earlier this week as saying, "She sends someone to change the Ivanka wax figure's nail color every week or so."
But Madame Tussauds have slammed reports the 27-year-old heiress is taking vanity to a new level.
"Madame Tussauds New York would like to set the record straight," a Tussauds spokesperson tells ShowbizSpy.com. "On Friday, the Daily News called and was inadvertently given incorrect information by a Tussauds employee.
"Unfortunately, the employee thought the Daily News was asking about a different figure.
"Madame Tussauds New York does not in fact have a figure of Ivanka Trump... yet.
"We apologize for the confusion. Madame Tussauds loves the Trumps and is very proud of its figures of Donald and Ivana Trump, as well as its more than 200 lifelike figures."
