Simon Cowell fights with Ryan Seacrest
Simon Cowell was left red in the face following several put downs by Ryan Seacrest on last night's American Idol show.
An argument between the music mogul and the American Idol host started after Cowell labeled Jason Castro's performance as: "something you would hear in a student's dorm room at midnight."
Seacrest then dangerously suggested Cowell hangs out with young students in the early hours, retorting: "Well, when the sun goes down, lets hope you leave that student's room."
Seacrest then aimed another swipe at Cowell after a performance from Kristy Lee Cook.
The country girl's rendition of Beatles classic, 'Eight Days a Week' was slammed by Simon, who said it was, "like being at some ghastly fair."
Idol host Seacrest accused Cowell of badly advising Cook, after she put a country spin on the Beatles classic, upon the judge's suggestion.
Cowell told Seacrest: "Ryan, you are being really obnoxious, get on with presenting the next link."
Seacrest replied: "I will in a second. How about when you become host you can work this out yourself."
Seacrest continued the nasty edge, saying: "I can build you the old set and you can play host in your own back yard."
Cowell was less than pleased by the response and gave Seacrest a nasty glare as the show uncomfortably continued.

I am sick of Ryan Seacrest...he is sooooo disrespectful of Simon Cowell and everyone is getting tired of Ryan. Simon is there as a judge to critque (good, bad or indifferent) the contestants ....WHY Ryan is there escapes me completely...anyone can do his job. I and EVERYONE I talk with thinks mgmnt should have a talk with Ryan and put him in his place.!!!!! At the end of the shows he thanks Randy and Paula and completely ignores Simon..that you haven't said something to Ryan is a sin. We are SICK AND TIRED of Ryan Seacrest...!!!
I am incredibly tired of
I am incredibly tired of Ryan's mouth on AI. Simon stated on a talk show recently that, basically, Ryan's there to host the show, not critique the people, and he needs to remember his place. I happen to agree with Simon. HE is the one the singers seek to please, and there is a reason for that - he is the one with the eye for talent. No, he's not always right, but usually, he is. I certainly hope that Ryan will learn to keep his mouth shut.
The thing is, as a singer myself, I know it's hard at times to hear the truth. Randy gives some good advice, and he's okay to listen to. Paula is almost worthless as a judge. I would hate to hear how pretty I looked but no commentary on my performance from her. That's when I would think I majorly sucked. But when Simon says, "You made that your song", "That's your best song ever," or "Best song of the night!", then you know it was really, truly good.
So, Ryan, keep your petty comments to yourself and let the singers hear a worthwhile criticism. While we're at it, Paula, why don't you do the same?

Well, you guys certainly do take Ryan's insults personally and some of you think Simon is an incompetent asshole.... =] I think the arguing is fun to listen to and even though I think some of its staged, it helps us learn about he judges. I love Simon and Ryan both but Ryan DOES need to take a chill pill.
And for all of you that think Simon is getting what he deserved, puh-leeze. Simon may be harsh but he gives the best critique out of all them. Sure, I would hate it if he dissed my singing but at least I would know what to do to improve it or know I should only sing in the shower. =]
Ryan and Simon are interesting to listen to, so I don't mind at all.

You all need to learn to use the edit button or at least check your spelling if you want your comments to stand for anything. Just a word of advice. You all need to take a chill pill and get over the idea of Ryan getting fired for paying Simon back for his past insults. Karma and he's getting the other side of it now. ;)
