Victoria Beckham 'longing for more friends'

Victoria Beckham counts the likes of Katie Holmes and Jada Pinkett Smith as Hollywood pals - but the singer is longing for more female friends - and is feeling lower than ever now the Spice Girls reunion tour is over.

"Now she's back in the States, Victoria is missing England," said a source close to 33-year-old mom of three. "She envied Geri, Mel C, and Emma going back to England and now the tour is over, she has realized how few friends she has in LA.

"Apart from David and her mum, she has no one she can trust to talk to."

The source also claims that Victoria - who launched her own range on men's "baggy" jeans earlier this week - has confessed she is suffering from "post-tour depression".

Adds the source: "Although it was good to get back with the girls, Victoria doesn't regard them as real friends because they have too much rivalry.

"She was delighted when the tour finished, but now she's feeling flat and a bit down.

"She's really lonely in LA."

And Victoria's once budding relationship with Tom Cruise's wife Katie Holmes also reportedly appears to be turning sour.

The source adds to Britain's Closer magazine: "They aren't in contact like they used to be and Posh is missing their friendship.

"Victoria's not close to other mums at the boys' LA school or the other wives of the LA Galaxy players."

Victoria is also feeling all the more lonely - because her soccer star husband, David, 32, is in the middle of an Asian tour with his soccer team, LA Galaxy, and she was forced to celebrate her son, Brooklyn's ninth birthday without him.

"[Victoria] was tearful and upset coming up to Brooklyn's party," adds the source. "She said when she lived in Madrid she and David had a closer circle of friends and she saw most of their families because London is so close."
