Britney Spears' new music video premieres
Britney Spears is an animated superhero in her latest music video that premiered on a website yesterday.
The troubled singer can be seen in the Manga style video for her latest single 'Break The Ice', kung-fu kicking her way through a number of animated villains, and jumping from an exploding building in a futuristic world.
As she leaps from the exploding tower, the words, 'to be continued' leave viewers puzzled about cartoon Britney's fate.
The video premiered on dedicated website, www.blackoutball.com and is the third single to be taken from her 2007 album 'Blackout.'
Britney, 26, has seen her career take a turn for the worst, after reports of psychiatric problems and her custody battle with Kevin Federline hogging the headlines.
In the last year Spears has been in rehab, lost the custody of sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, and has been hospitalized twice for psychiatric evaluation.
Britney will also return to TV, having been cast as a receptionist in a doctor's office in an episode of popular US show, 'How I Met Your Mother.' The episode is reported to be shown on 24 March on US TV.
Spears made her US TV debut in March 2006, when she appeared as a Christian conservative talk show host in 'Will and Grace.'
