Jennifer Lopez's husband dubbed the "Burp Whisperer"

Jennifer Lopez's husband has been dubbed the "Burp Whisperer" - because he is so skilled at getting the couple's baby twins to sleep.

Marc Anthony said wife J-Lo and her family gave him the nickname after the pair welcomed the newborns last month.

He said: "I'm so hands-on with them that the household developed a nickname for me.

"They call me the Burp Whisperer."

Chart star Lopez, 38, gave birth to twins Emme and Max in New York on February 22. She has been married to Latin music sensation Anthony, 39, for more than three years.

Anthony told a US newspaper: "I told Jennifer, nothing you do is small.

"Everything you do is on such large scale.

"The first time out you give birth to twins. And I'm so excited."

He made his comments at a New York Police Department fundraiser.

He added: "Even though I'm a little busy with our babies, I came. This is my first time out of the house since the babies came."
