Kanye West's rep blasts wedding rumors

Kanye West's rep has hit blasted rumors the rapper and his designer girlfriend Alexis Phifer secretly got married.

The 'Stronger' star's rep insists that internet reports the two tied the knot in a hush hush ceremony in Europe are "untrue."

West, 30, proposed to Phifer in 2006 while vacationing in Italy. They spent time in Europe earlier this month for Paris Fashion Week.

Sources close to the Grammy-Award winning star previously said that he would walk down the aisle with Phifer to honor his late mother’s wishes - that they make their relationship official.

West has also revealed his plans to have a low-key ceremony.

"I’m just going to go and get married," he told GQ magazine last year. "I’m not going to make a big deal out of it."
