Kelly Osbourne says she will always be an'addict'
Kelly Osbourne has confessed she will always be an 'addict'.
Kelly, the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, admits: "I know I'll always be an addict. Addiction is a gene, I've just learned to live with it.
"There are different levels of addiction, whether it be drugs, spending money, overeating or painting your nails 20 times a day.
"It's an addictive gene and you have it for the rest of your life."
The 23-year-old singer-turned actress also admits, "I'm not totally sober because I do drink and sometimes I slip and I'll call my mum first thing in the morning and cry down the phone."
Referring back to her teen addiction of painkiller Oxycontin, she says she had a stash of 500 pills under her bed that made her "utterly miserable."
Kelly also fired a warning shot to the likes of Gordon Brown and Hillary Clinton, insisting her gobby mum Sharon is destined for a life in politics.
"She is planning to go into politics," said Kelly, "I think she would be really good and very feisty."
She also insists there is no way her pal Kate Moss would ever get back together with fellow addict Pete Doherty, saying: "There is no way Kate will get back with Pete. They don't even talk now. It was totally her decision to end it."
