Amy Winehouse cancels hotel gig

Amy WinehouseTroubled Amy Winehouse has canceled yet another gig under mysterious circumstances.

The 'Rehab' star claimed that she could not attend the 30-minute slot in front of her record label bosses at London's swanky Grove Hotel -- because she had an argument with jailed hubby Blake Fielder-Civil.

The bosses -- from Universal Music -- were told the 24-year-singer was ill.

But sources close to the star tell The Sun newspaper that she skipped the performance because she was getting stuck in to her favorite illegal pastimes.

Meanwhile, Amy's dad, Mitch Winehouse has blamed is extramarital affair with a former colleague for his daughter's train wreck life.

Taxi driver Mitch, 57, admits he made his daughter's early life difficult by cheating on her mother Janis for eight years, before leaving the family home to live with his mistress Jane in 1993.

He said: "The affair was in the open and the children used to call Jane 'Daddy's work wife'. I did not leave home until Amy was ten so the situation occurred for eight or nine years before I left home. It was difficult.

"I didn't realize what effect my behavior had on her until I heard her song 'What Is It About Men', with the line 'All the shit my mother went through', which obviously referred to me."
