Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie refused entry to REM concert

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were left red-faced when they were refused entry to a rock concert.

The Hollywood couple, dubbed 'Brangelina' tried to get themselves and a group of friends into the R.E.M. gig at the South by South West festival in Austin, Texas.

Unfortunately, the show's organizers at the 'Stubbs' venue couldn't accommodate the stars and their entourage, and the group was asked to move on.

Pitt, 44, is in Austin filming the Terrence Malick film, 'Tree of Life' starring opposite Sean Penn.

The South by South West music festival kicked off on 12 March and ends 16 March.

The music bash has been a permanent Austin fixture since 1987, and attracts thousands of music fans every year.
