Britney SpearsThe hospital where Britney Spears was held for psychiatric evaluation is terminating at least 13 employees contracts for allegedly looking at the pop star's medical records.

UCLA Medical Center has reportedly fired 13 staff members and suspended 6 doctors for snooping into the confidential records of the Toxic star.

It is believed that this isn't the first time Spears has had her privacy compromised.

Several workers were allegedly caught snooping when Britney gave birth to her first son, Sean Preston, in September 2005 at Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center and Orthopaedic Hospital, resulting in some of the staff being fired.

The hospital director of human resources, Jeri Simpson is surprised Britney's information has been spied on again. He said: "I feel like we do everything that we possibly can to ensure the privacy of our patients and I know we feel horrible that it happened again."

Simpson confirmed that the hospital treats celebrities, "all the time and you never hear about this."

He added: "I don't know what it is about this particular person, I don't know what it is about her."

Spears was admitted to the hospital on 31 January - after being placed on a 5150 hold, after she was deemed a danger to herself and others.
She was released a week later on 6 February.
