Lisa Marie Presley thanks her fans

Lisa Marie Presley has thanked fans for their support during a difficult week.

Lisa - the daughter of Elvis Presley - was forced to reveal she was pregnant with her third child on March 7, following intense media speculation about her expanding waistline, saying, "I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am, in fact, pregnant."

She then filed suit against Britain's Daily Mail newspaper after they published an article suggesting she had developed an "unhealthy appetite" and "gained weight like her father Elvis."

The 40-year-old singer - who has two children with ex-husband Danny Keough - and is expecting her first child with husband Michael Lockwood, took to her MySpace page in a post punctuated with a happy face, and said: "Your overwhelming support has not gone unnoticed.

"It has been heart warming to see . It has made me very happy.

"Thank you :)
