Kristin Davis denies she has a sex tape

Sex and the City star Kristin Davis has denied reports she's the star of a 5-year-old sex tape.

20 sexually explicit photos allegedly of Davis in several compromising positions are making the rounds. The shots are said to be from a sex tape she apparently made with an ex-boyfriend five years ago.

TMZ reports that the photos are now being shopped by a broker from California.

But Davis' rep has hit out the reports, insisting: "This is not a photo of Kristin Davis. There is no sex tape."

The Sex and the City movie - which stars Davis as Charlotte York alongside Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw, Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones, and Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes - is out May 30.
