Mary-Louise Parker terrified of directions

West Wing star Mary-Louise Parker loves living in New York's trendy West Village - but don't ask her for directions.

The actress has lived in the neighbourhood, also a favourite with Sarah Jessica Parker, for years, but admits she cannot help lost tourists.

"I panic when people on the street ask for directions," Parker tells 'Town & Country' magazine.

"Where they need to go might only be a few blocks away, but it's as if they're asking, 'How do you get to Croatia from here?'"
