Gwyneth Paltrow puts her career on hold to be a full-time mom

Gwyneth Paltrow has said she plans to give up making movies - in order to become a full-time mom.

The Shakespeare in Love actress - who lives in North London with Coldplay star Chris Martin and their two children, Apple, three, and Moses, one, said: "I'm not doing another film until next fall.

"Everything is about family, I'm putting movies on a backburner.

"London is my home for now - this is where we are concentrating our time."

Meanwhile, the 35-year-old beauty has hinted at her plans to adopt a baby from New York.

"We might get one from Brooklyn," she said.

"No baby is more helpless than another baby.

"And I'm a New York girl."
