Joe Francis can't wait to exploit Ashley Dupre
Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis can't wait to exploit the intense media interest in Ashley Dupre, the $4,800-a-night hooker who brought down New York Governor Spitzer.
"We can't get a DVD together fast enough," he told Us Weekly magazine. "Her candle is going to burn out pretty quickly, especially after we release our footage."
Earlier this week, Francis, 34, publicly offered Dupre a $1m deal for a Girls Gone Wild photo shoot and tour. While he was negotiating with Dupre's lawyers, footage of Ashley from 2003 was discovered and the deal was called off.
"She wanted more money and less of what we wanted," adds Joe - who earlier this month was convicted on child abuse and prostitution charges.
"Our footage is from when she was 18-years-old, and it doesn't get much better than that," he proclaims. "Eliot Spitzer has put some miles on that girl!"
Joe plans to sell footage of Dupre with a trial view costing $4.95 on his website, girlsgonewild.com.
"She's doing Girls Gone Wild-typical [stuff]: dancing around naked and flashing her breasts," he enthuses.
As for reports Dupre, who is now 22, was underage during the Girls Gone Wild shoot, Francis explains, "It doesn't matter.
"There's no sexual contact, so even if she was 17 or 16 for that matter, federal and state law permits posing nude.
"We're just talking about nudity, not pornography."
