Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox team up to raise $1 million for charity

Jennifer Aniston and Courteney CoxCourteney Cox Arquette and Jennifer Aniston are teaming up to raise $1m for charity.

The former 'Friends' stars, along with Cox's husband David Arquette, and fellow couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale – and Orlando Bloom, Kate Beckinsale, Rashida Jones, Brad Pitt, James Marsden and Eva Longoria Parker, are all serving on the honorary advisory board of Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation.

Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare and debilitating genetic skin condition that primarily affects children. Cox and Arquette are helping spearhead the awareness- and money-raising effort on behalf of research – with a goal of $1 million in two weeks.

"EB is very personal to me so I'm happy to be a part of this $1 million challenge," Cox, 43, said in a statement. "Now is such an important time to put the spotlight on EB and ensure that research can continue at a fast pace."

Just a million to 'raise? Aniston is worth $110 M. Why doesn't she just write a check? That's right, it's "Charity isn't my thing" Aniston. Jolie-Pitt donated $8M last year. Sorry, Aniston loses again.
