Amy Winehouse to try urine ointment to tidy up her skin
Troubled Amy Winehouse is set to use a radical new urine-based ointment in a bid to tidy up her blotchy skin.
The ointment -- which will require the singer to add her own urine before massaging it into her face -- is a last resort for the 24-year-old 'Rehab' star after her pharmacist failed to find a solution to return her skin to its former glory.
A pal said: "Amy’s sick of turning heads for all the wrong reasons when she’s out. She has tried all sorts of lotions and potions but none works.
"She is desperately unhappy with her appearance and she is happy to try anything that may clear up her condition. She is praying the urine ointment will work."
Earlier this month, Amy's rep said the bee-hived diva's bumpy skin was due due to impetigo, a highly-contagious skin-condition.
