Amy Winehouse's husband begs her to fund his drug habit

Amy WinehouseAmy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil has begged his troubled wife to secretly fund his drug habit while he's in prison.

Fielder-Civil, 25, reportedly told fellow inmates at London's Pentonville prison -- where he's being held on assault and conspiracy charges -- that he had asked the singer to make payments into the bank account of another con in exchange for heroin.

A prison source said: "Blake’s addiction is just as bad as ever and he’s bragging about how he’s been asking Amy to help him get a fix.

"He showed us the bank details of a known dealer inside Pentonville and said he'd asked Amy to make regular wire transfers to this guy in exchange for heroin.

"Apparently he wanted each transfer to end in a single pound, so the dealer would know who the money came from."

The asking price for each "wrap" is said to be $200 — four times its street value.

The source added to British newspaper The Sun: "Blake doesn’t care as long as he gets his hit. He’s prepared to put his wife at risk. It shows how desperate he’s become."

And the prison's chief of security has even written to Blake’s solicitors warning: "There is strong and supported intelligence he is involved in attempting to smuggle drugs into the prison."
