Britney Spears to appear at Kids Choice Awards?

Britney Spears is set to appear at the Kids Choice Awards, it has been claimed.

Reps for Britney are yet to confirm if the troubled pop princess will grace the orange carpet of the award show on March 29, but insiders say, "It's supposed to be top-secret, but everyone is already buzzing about it.

"Her sister, Jamie Lynn, made such a splash at the event last year, Brit knows that she'll get as much if not more attention if she shows up this year."

Meanwhile, Britney's appearance in CBS sitcom 'How I Met Your Mother', helped the show receive its highest ever rating.

The show, which aired Monday, spiked to a series high 4.5 preliminary rating among adults 18-49, even as the rest of the CBS comedy lineup fell from last week's record-setting return to original episodes.

The Toxic star, 26, also received fairly positive responses from the critics.

"Britney the Trainwreck showed how she can still be Britney the Performer," said the Associated Press.

"Spears proved she can act every bit as well as she can sing," wrote the New York Daily News.

"Brit looked slim, (OK she was behind a desk), trim and gorgeous," said the New York Post.
