Piers Morgan wins The Celebrity Apprentice
Piers Morgan -- a man frequently described as ruthless, vicious and evil -- yesterday won the live final of The Celebrity Apprentice and raised $250,000 more than the rest of the contestants combined.
The former tabloid editor fought off the other 13 celebrities -- including, Gene Simmons, Vincent Pastore, Tito Ortiz, Omarosa, Lennox Lewis, Marilu Henner, Nely Galán, Jennie Finch, Tiffany Fallon, Nadia Comaneci, Stephen Baldwin, Carol Alt, and Trace Adkins -- winning more tasks than anybody else.
In a battle that was billed as "good versus evil, America versus Britain" by host Donald Trump, Morgan won the show's prize of $250,000 dollars for charity in the final task, a celebrity auction and party.
Piers, 42, was helped by pal Simon Cowell, who bought a shopping trip with Trump's tall blond daughter Ivanka for $100,000, and the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, who offered afternoon tea with her as an auction prize.
Morgan, best known as the mean judge on "America's Got Talent", was booed by the studio audience as he came on stage to take on mild-mannered country singer Trace Adkins, whom he described as a "6ft 7in cowboy" and "all-American hero", in the live NBC final.
As he announced the winner, Billionaire property mogul Trump told Morgan: "You're a vicious guy, I've seen it. You can try and dispute it. You're tough, you're smart, you're probably brilliant, I'm not sure. You're certainly not diplomatic.
"But you did an amazing job and you beat the hell out of everybody. And you won by far more than anybody."
Morgan, along with the help of his friends and contacts, raised a whopping $500,00 for charity. He was also credited with "the biggest slaughter in the history of the Apprentice" for defeating his arch rival reality TV star Omarosa.

Very simple...Piers kicks
Very simple...Piers kicks they ass!
Piers is a Brit who
Piers is a Brit who genuinely cares about the soldiers.
As I started to watch Celebrity Apprentice, I watched it for Stephen Baldwin; I remembered him from "The Mole", and I thought he was hilarious. I was not a fan of Piers Morgan, remembering him from "America's got Talent".
Europeans have a different mentality, a different sense of humor, and some Americans are just incapable of understanding (and not understanding often results in anger), accepting, or tolerating that. Europeans are often called rude, mean, and even viscous. What is normal in Europe can be a faux pas in America (and probably vice versa) even though some Americans are rude and mean in more backstabbing ways e.g., Baldwin was a great example of a viscous person, a coward, a hypocrite ... truly disappointing.
A great example that Europeans can be tactful and polite is that they do not laugh in the Americans face when Americans claim that "America is the greatest country in the world" (of course, even Germany is the greatest country in the world when compared to some third world country). We (by the way, I am German) laugh behind their back :)
Piers had to hear from day one insult over insult from other celebrities, some of the insults were really humiliating (starting from called being mean to very personal insults e.g., family, teeth, why he was sweating so much). I was glad to see how his integrity, loyalty, his pride, his good heart, his smartness, and a great sense of humor helped him to deal with that. He did fight hard and fair and deserved this win. Hopefully, Piers great qualities will become more obvious when he judges talented Americans.
By the way, "nice" and "mean" is Kindergarten vocabulary; I have heard this vocabulary far too often in America's Corporate world and find it inappropriate for business.
A German (with plenty of U.S. and Germany living experience)
Piers Morgan should not be
Piers Morgan should not be allowed on american TV. He is rude and obnoxious and after seeing him on 2 programs now America's Got Talent and Celebrity Apprentice I will not watch another program that he is a part of.
