Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt marriage rumors "complete and total bulls**t"

It seems reports that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt got married in New Orleans Saturday aren't strictly true.

A source close to the couple told People magazine that there was "no wedding"

Another source said that the rumors are "complete and total bulls**t," and that, "they aren't even in New Orleans".

And Brad's rep said that she had "no idea" if the rumors were true or not.

Reverend Anthony Talavera, proprietor of the French Quarter Wedding Chapel in New Orleans, where the wedding was rumored to have taken place, explains. "Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were not married in our chapel. Period.

"I’ve never even met them."

In 2006, Pitt, 44, stated that he and Jolie were waiting until gay marriage was legalized before they would marry.

"Angie and I will consider tying the knot when everyone else in the country who wants to be married is legally able," the Hollywood hunk told Esquire.

Jolie has brushed off the value of marriage.

"We both have been married before, so it's not marriage that's necessarily kept some people together," she told Vogue in 2006. "We are legally bound to our children, not to each other, and I think that's the most important thing."

Jolie, 32, is rumored to be several months' pregnant with twins. She was previously married to British actor Jonny Lee Miller, whom she divorced in 1997, and screen star Billy Bob Thornton. They split in 2003.

Brad's marriage to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston officially ended in October 2005.

Pitt and Jolie, nicknamed "Brangelina", already have four children - adopted sons Maddox, six, and Pax, four, adopted daughter Zahara, three and 21-month-old biological daughter, Shiloh.
