David Beckham was nervous to model in his underwear

Soccer hunk David Beckham has revealed he was nervous to model in his underwear for Emporio Armani.

"I was so nervous about doing that campaign because obviously I've done photo shoots before, but I’ve never done photo shoots in my underwear!" Beckham, 32, said on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Tuesday.

"I was quite nervous because obviously I knew my wife and friends were going to see it. And my mom was going to see it."

When the ads came out, the LA Galaxy star says that his mom "was the first one to call me and say, 'What are you doing?' I tried explaining it to her, but she didn't really get it."
