Madonna sleeps with her BlackBerry

Pop superstar Madonna has revealed that she and husband Guy Ritchie sleep with their BlackBerrys under their pillows -- but insists "it's not unromantic, it’s practical".

Madonna, 49, said: "We lie right next to each other with our BlackBerrys under our pillows. It's not unromantic, it's practical.

"I'm sure loads of couples have their BlackBerrys in bed with them.

"I often wake up in the middle of the night and remember that I’ve forgotten something, so I jump up and make notes."

The singer -- who was recently inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame -- said film director Guy, 39, only plays with his gadget until she joins him under the sheets.

She added to Britain's Elle magazine: "Guy’s always waiting for me to come to bed, so he plays Brick on his Blackberry until I’m ready."

And quashing rumors their marriage is on the rocks, the 'Material Girl' singer says it is perfect for them both.

"I had to marry someone as tough as me," she said. "Guy’s definitely tough.

"I had to marry a challenge, otherwise I would just get bored.

“Whatever else Guy is, he’s never boring.”

The singer, who turns 50 this year, also rubbished claims she wants to move back to the US, saying: "I think of Britain as my home. And I love the weather. All that rain and moisture is so good for the skin."
