Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's families are eager for the pair to get married.
Last week, the internet was abuzz with rumors the pair had tied the knot, and when the news reached the Pitt family, they had their hopes up for the reports to be true: They weren't.
"The whole family is still keeping their fingers crossed that someday they will tie the knot," a source close to the family tells OK! magazine.
Pitt's mom, Jane, has warmed twice-divorced Angelina, 32, to the idea of marrying Brad, but she subscribes to the mantra of "if it's not broke, don't fix it."
"Jane has a really hard time with them not being married," the source says. "She feels that they need to be married for the kids."
As for Brad, the actor "would love to marry her but doesn’t want to force her, and I’ve never seen Brad so happy."

Yeah we all believe that Jane Pitt is trying to convince Angelina to accept Brads supposed proposal......

Remember who ALWAYS used to deny those stories , the very minute they poped? Yes exactly.

Why would Jane Pitt want her son to marry that skank? Her grand daughter the beautiful Shiloh is constantly abused in the family and full of bruises and cut teeth and bitemarks!
It's a shame. Take your daughter and run Brad if you have any sense left.
And for your information those children that Angelina adopted is NOT I repeat NOT adopted by Brad.

I've heard of guys with cold feet who have all kinds of reasons to put off marriage, but this one takes the cake. Hey, I'm all for anyone in love being given the right to marry, He should just come right out and say what he really thinks:"I'm putting off marriage because I'm no fool and I'm fully aware of Angelina's track record. If we get married, she'll lose interest in me in 1.5 years and throw me out like she did with Billy Bob Thornton. She once said Billy Bob was Maddox's adoptive father and now he's not even in the picture anymore. I simply don't want to be a casualty of war.Wouldn't it be refreshing to hear that kind of candor? Since that's unlikely to happen anytime soon, we'll have to settle for Brad's political statement for now.
