Nicole Richie "not engaged"

Nicole Richie and Joel madden are not engaged, despite internet reports to the contrary.

Richie's rep insists that an OK! magazine report that the pair are planning a summer wedding are "not true," adding, "they are not even engaged".

OK! magazine claimed that "invites for the blessed event are set to go out next week" and "a celeb party planner is already getting everything together for the nuptials."

Richie, 26, and Madden 29, welcomed their first child, Harlow Winter Kate, in January.
