Beyoncé and Jay-Z married
Beyoncé and Jay-Z got married in New York City Friday, a source close to the couple has said.
There is no official confirmation of the marriage as yet, but the source -- a friend of the couple -- says, "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family."
The ceremony, with an all-white theme, included star-studded guests like Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin and Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at Jay-Z's penthouse apartment in NYC's TriBeca neighborhood, decorated with white orchids and the number '4', signifying the birthday number Beyonce and Jay-Z both share (Beyonce in September, Jay-Z in December)
A source said that Amy's Orchids was hired to provide 50,000 to 60,000 white orchid blooms from Thailand for a "big party." At the apartment, waiters were seen practicing their service.
The pair, Jay-Z, 38, and Beyonce, 26, have been a couple since 2002 -- but have always kept quiet about their relationship, even as they were photographed together on romantic holidays around the world.

Congratulations to the couple. They make a nice couple. I didn't know they have been together for 6 years. That shows stability and commitment. I hope they will continue to grow in their marriage and stay as one. They deserve happiness just like anyone else.
