Amy Winehouse records an album of love songs for incarcerated husband

Troubled Amy Winehouse has recorded an album of love songs for her incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil.

The 'Rehab' star, 24, has been locked away in her London flat for weeks putting the album together, which she hopes to hand him next week.

Amy reckons the surprise gift will mean so much to Blake -- and give him the boost he needs.

A source said: "It's a display of devotion to the one man she truly loves.

"All the songs are about their love affair and marriage.

"She wants him to know will always be there, despite all their difficulties.

"Amy has always found songwriting is where she best expresses her emotions.

"Blake knows this so there could not be a better present to reassure him."

Fielder-Civil, 25, has been locked up in London's Pentonville jail since he was arrested in November accused of assault and perverting the cause of justice.
