Paris Hilton's brother pleads no contest to D.U.I.

Paris Hilton's younger brother Barron has today pleaded no contest to driving under the influence and was sentenced to three years probation – and, like Lindsay Lohan, ordered to visit a morgue.

According to TMZ, 18-year-old Barron also had his license suspended for a year.

Barron, who at 18 is under the legal drinking age of 21 in California, was arrested on February 12 in Malibu.

He was finally released on $20,000 bail after spending nine hours in the cells - but it wasn't his famous sister who paid up. It was three male pals who came to Barron's rescue and called in a bail bondsman after the hotel heiress refused to bail him out.

The 18-year-old dashed out of Lost Hills Police Station at 5.50pm, covering his head with a jacket, and got in the back of a silver car.

Barron was arrested at 8.30am on Februry 12 as he drove a black Mercedes along the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, California. Cops pulled him over at a 76 gas station and arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence and being in possession of a fake California driving license.

The LA County Sheriff's Department said Barron was almost twice the legal alcohol limit when breathalyser. Spokesman Steve Whitmore said he gave a blood-alcohol reading of .14.

In California, .08  is considered legally over the limit for a 21-year-old. Because Barron is only 18, any blood alcohol level is considered legally drunk. The teenager also allegedly struck a worker at the 76 garage shortly before his DUI arrest.

The man, who gave his name only as Fernando, said Barron - who was accompanied by a female passenger - pulled into the gas station and began driving around in circles.

Fernando claims the 18-year-old then struck his leg with the Mercedes, throwing him over the pump and leaving him with bruises.

Cops took Barron to the Lost Hills Police Station and he posed for a booking photo. He reportedly called sister Paris and pleaded with her to bail him out - but she refused and told him he needed to learn his lesson.

The teen was eventually released from custody shortly before 6pm, after his friends found a bail bondsman.

Paris infamously served 22 days in jail last year after being convicted of driving on a suspended license. The conviction followed a conviction for drink-driving in September 2006.
