Heather Mills angers Miss USA pageant producers

April 15 2008

Heather MillsHeather Mills wasn't just unpopular with the crowd at the Miss USA pageant last weekend -- the show's producers took a dislike to the former glamor model, as well.

Mills was jeered and cheered when she was introduced as a judge for the show at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Vegas. But the real problem came behind the scenes, where, for three weeks prior, Mills, 40, reportedly refused to sign a contract stating the show could be rebroadcast.

"She flat out refused because of one line," an insider told the New York Post newspaper. "They went back and forth rewriting and finally threatened to pull her from it altogether. She still wouldn't sign it because she wants to get paid if they resell the footage. Her ego is enormous, and it's getting bigger by the minute."

The independent contractors who booked Paul McCartney's ex-wife vowed never to work with her again, adds the insider.

"She believed that if the show got high ratings, it would be because of her," said the source. "She treated this like she was starring in a big-budget movie."

Heather -- dubbed Lady Mucca by British tabloids due to her porn past -- even tracked down Donald Trump while he was dining at Koi before the show, hoping to "butter him up" and get his approval to be on air. "Heather was flirting with him, and she was really working it," said the source. "She was unprofessional, but he said, 'Let her [go] on anyway'."

Mills, one of 10 judges, eventually got her way when they adjusted the contract to suit her.

After the show, she was heard backstage discussing her plans to quit England and move to America.

"In England, people don't like me," she said. "But I'm going to move to America, Los Angeles, hopefully . . . I'll be better off in the States."

She was then spotted cozying up to Paris Hilton's former publicist, Elliot Mintz, sparking rumors he may take her on as a client. "She's very cheap; she could never afford his price," adds the source.

Mills' representative, Michele Elyzabeth, declined comment.

The monopedal gold-digger is

The monopedal gold-digger is right when she says more people hate her in the UK than in the States. That's because we know more about her. If she does move to LA (her daughter is settled in a school in England) you guys will catch up fast...

Do we have to drop a

Do we have to drop a building on this woman before she "gets it?" She could probably make an enemy in an empty room for Heather Mills is her very own worst enemy.

The media will follow her

The media will follow her around because she is a train wreck ready to happen at any time. When she does it will sell lots of magazines and newspapers.

I pity that poor child that is learning all the wrong things from this vicious, vindictive woman. Hopefully Mucca will become so outrageous McCartney can wrest Bea from the control and influence of this terrible wench.

Congrats to Heather for

Congrats to Heather for setting an example for all women that you can take on the rich and famous, and even lawyers and win. Excellent job in court. You know you did a good job if you upset the Judge.

Mucca needs to get over

Mucca needs to get over herself. She is constantly trying to keep her face and that shrill voice of hers in the spotlite so people who are trying to forget her won't. I wish Ms Shackelford would file charges against this troll for pouring water on her. If the media would quit taking Mucca's photo and talking to her maybe just maybe she would GO AWAY!!!
