Lindsay Lohan's pal "practically moves in"

Lindsay Lohan's pal Samantha Ronson has "practically moved in" with the troubled star at her Los Angeles pad in a bid to make sure she stays away from drugs.

"Sam still has her own place," a source told the New York Post, "but she spends every night at Lindsay's" to make sure she stays away from drink, drugs and trouble.

Ronson -- whose mom is writer Ann Dexter-Jones and dad is band manager Laurence Ronson -- started getting close to the Mean Girls actress in 2004. And when Lindsay, 21, was in rehab last year, they kept in constant contact via their MySpace pages.

"Your [sic] all I have to live for babe," Lohan wrote at the time. "I want to marry you and have children with you. I need you to live!"
