Lindsay Lohan wishes her dad "wouldn't go and talk to the media"
Lindsay Lohan is furious her dad keeps to talking to the media on her behalf and about her.
"I just wish that he wouldn't go and talk to the media," she said on syndicated radio program The Billy Bush Show Friday. "It's not attractive to me, it really upsets me and I wish he would stop.... I love my father. I just don't know why he's doing what he's doing. It's a weird situation, very odd."
Micheal Lohan has frequently commented on his daughter's eventful life and that of their family, most recently talking about his divorce from Lindsay's mother, Dina, and the upcoming E! reality show Living Lohan with Dina and her 13-year-old daughter Ali.
Lindsay also said she isn't involved with her mom's new reality TV protect -- but isn't against it.
"Let them take the distraction away from me for a bit, it would help," she said.
But she says not to dismiss the possibility of an appearance.
"Never say never. I don't know," she says. "It's my family, and I support them in many ways."
Lohan, meanwhile, is recording a new album with tracks produced Timbaland, Akon and Pharrell -- and don't look for angst-ridden songs -- the 'Mean Girls' star wants it to be a "fun record".
"I've gone through so much and I think publicly people have seen that and I don't find that fascinating anymore," she says. "I think it's kind of over with because that's not where I am in my life, so I want it to be a fun record, I want it to be free-spirited and I want it to represent me in my life now, which is happy."
