Amy Winehouse leads Ivor Novello nominations
Despite her personal problems, Amy Winehouse's career is going from strength-to-strength.
The 24-year-old 'Rehab' star is set to lead this year's prestigious Ivor Novello Awards, after receiving three nominations -- even though her last album, Back to Black, was released some two years ago.
The troubled singer is practically guaranteed to scoop at least one of the coveted awards after being nominated twice in the same category for tracks 'Love Is A Losing Game' and 'You Know I'm No Good'.
The five time Grammy Award winner's only competition will come from little known writers, Rosi Golan and Jamie Hartman, for track 'Let Me Out'.
And Amy's 2006 smash-hit single 'Rehab' has found a way to be included in this year's 'Best Selling British Song' category up against MIKA for 'Grace Kelly'.
In the Best Contemporary Song category, 'Foundations' by Brit Award winner Kate Nash will go up-against Mercury Prize winner's Klaxons' with their single 'Golden Skans'.
Radiohead are up for the Best Album Award for 'In Rainbows', while the most performed song will go to the Kaiser Chiefs for number one smash hit 'Ruby'.
The event recognizes Britain's songwriting and composing talents; nominees are selected by the 2000 members of The British Academy of Composers & Songwriters.
