Tom Cruise and Katie Homes spent $100k on Suri's second birthday
Proud parents Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes splashed out a whopping $100,000 on their daughter Suri's second birthday party.
The 'Top Gun' star and the former 'Dawson's Creek' actress threw an extravagant butterfly-themed bash for Suri, which included a four-tier polka-dot cake topped with yellow and white sugar butterflies.
Each of the 24 party guests got their own cake with their name written in edible calligraphy.
The partygoers tucked into $28,000 of food from chef Wolfgang Puck, and $11,000 worth of flowers were brought in for decoration.
Tom, 45, recently called his daughter a "blessing".
He said: "I am so thrilled and blessed with my beautiful little angel. She is such an amazing blessing.
"I've never been so happy in my entire life! I have the most amazing wife and children. I couldn't ask for more."
And Katie said, "She's our pride and joy! We are so blessed."

It's wonderful to know that in the state of our economy where people are struggling to pay the mortgage bill or fill up their gas tanks, the Cruise's can spend $100k on a 2 yr old birthday party! Lovely!!
