Victoria Beckham to design costumes for Tom Cruise film

Fashion icon Victoria Beckham will reportedly design the costumes for new movie Hardy Men - after she was personally asked by the film's star Tom Cruise.

The former Spice Girl - who is currently conquering the U.K. and U.S. fashion markets with her own range of designer jeans - is preparing to meet with the film's costume department.

A source said, "(Tom) pulled her aside and asked if she'd like to be involved in the costume consultation on Hardy Men.

"If she agrees, Victoria will be given a name check in the end credits."
